Description

The Yam House is an elegant and charming cottage part of Bromefield Plantation yard, a stunning property steeped in Barbadian history.

The Yam House has 4 air-conditioned bedrooms, 2 en-suite bathrooms, the master bedroom has built-in wardrobes, wooden floor and traditional furnishings and a spacious en-suite bathroom that has a bath with shower, double vanity, bidet, and a dressing table. A large living room where cable TV and internet are provided leads to a covered veranda with beautiful outdoor furniture overlooking the paddocks, there are sun loungers on the veranda as well as around the pool.

On the plantation grounds, one will also find several other cottages and the Bromefield Manor which is circa 1650 and which has been extensively restored and upgraded. The spacious grounds also offer many fields and paddocks. There is a swimming pool which is shared by the residents of the three cottages. Pool and garden maintenance are included in the rental fee.
